Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.


O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

childhood memory.

I have a distinct childhood memory I shared with my aunt who passed away of breast/brain cancer when I was 8. We were in Kids R Us... remember that store? They used to play music videos on hanging TVs around the shop. All of a sudden I heard the synth ring out the intro to "How Will I Know." I looked over to find my aunt had started to dance. As the song continued, we danced among the clothes together. Thank you Whitney for making music that allowed us to dance wherever we were and however we were feeling. I am so grateful for that song, and the memory it created.

who could forget The Format?!

The Format was a background soundtrack to most of my Junior and Senior year in high school. Now, after much anticipation the new Fun. album is coming out, and the vocal stylings of Mr. Nate Ruess have climbed to the number one spot on ITunes. Do yourself a favor and pick up both albums... so fun, you won't be disappointed.
