childhood memory.

I have a distinct childhood memory I shared with my aunt who passed away of breast/brain cancer when I was 8. We were in Kids R Us... remember that store? They used to play music videos on hanging TVs around the shop. All of a sudden I heard the synth ring out the intro to "How Will I Know." I looked over to find my aunt had started to dance. As the song continued, we danced among the clothes together. Thank you Whitney for making music that allowed us to dance wherever we were and however we were feeling. I am so grateful for that song, and the memory it created.
